First US study about positionsquatting
Webmarketing CVFM, leading Search Engine marketing firm for Major French  Companies has early detected a new phenomenon linked to paid positionning in search engines.

It deals with a new traffic hijicking technique, that was born in the US in 2000 but has dramaticcaly developped over the last 12 months. Small and Medium companies pay to appear rapidely on searches about Dow Jones companies in major US portal such as Aol.com, Lycos.com, Excite.com or Yahoo.com.
